What are your top ten values
and which of these values would you apply to your healthy lifestyle? Your values will help you shape your
motivation about being healthy or not. What’s
your motivation? What are you doing to live this motivation? Do you do it to feel better? Look better? Be
better?
Throughout life, we are taught
certain life lessons that govern us as we grow, but how we use those life
lessons dictate what we do and ultimately who we become. So what if certain life lessons are left out
such as how to eat the right foods or how to actively live a healthy lifestyle?
Who is to blame? Would you blame your parents for not being healthy? Would you? The truth is your body is just
that-- your body. No one else has your body (unless you have a doppelgänger,
then that’s creepy, and we’re not talking to you). While genetics may have
their way from time to time, it’s still not considered a constant. Again, YOUR
health solely relies on YOU.
Starting over is looking past
the wrong decisions and looking for the right ones that will change the way we
live our lives. These right choices will
help change the world we live in by establishing health as more valuable than
positions or wealth. Having a healthy
mind leads to a healthy body, which leads to a healthy life. So, let’s begin a new life by starting over.
